We are delighted to welcome pBone Music as Corporate Partners of TiME. pBone Music, the creators of the innovative plastic trombone, first launched their flagship product in 2010. Since then, pBone has become a staple in classrooms around the world. The lightweight and affordable pBone revolutionised the traditional brass trombone, and their range of instruments has expanded to include the pTrumpet, pTrumpet hyTech, pCornet and pCorder. The pBone mini offers younger trombone players an early start, while the pBugle provides a fun introduction to learning the trumpet. Additionally, the pBuzz is a unique instrument designed to teach children the basics of brass music.

Along with supporting music educators, pBone Music are at the forefront of the conversation on sustainability in music and education. By creating lighter instruments from recyclable ABS, they offer significant environmental advantages and are continuously evolving their practices to further support the environment.

Recently, TiME partnered with pBone Music to support the delivery of a successful conference for Music Hubs. Day one focused on sustainability, exploring options such as repairing, reusing, or recycling instruments. Day two highlighted how music technology can enhance access, inclusion, and creativity for students of all abilities. This is an area pBone Music are passionate about: alongside their range of accessible brass instruments they are supporting music education with a range of new adaptive music technologies.

We are excited about future collaborations with pBone Music, working together to support the UK community of musicians, producers, and educators. Through innovative instruments and technology, we aim to enhance access to music.
