Established in 2004, by musician and audio enthusiast Trevor Coley (CEO and Founder), the Sontronics brand produce a range of microphones that deliver professional-quality results at truly affordable prices. Sontronics take pride in the fact that every single microphone they make represents the best in British design, technology and manufacturing.

Sontronics share TiME’s ambition to raise awareness of the benefits that using music technology can bring and to support educators in all settings. In 2006, the Sontronics Education Partnership Programme was launched to support schools, colleges, universities and youth projects with affordable access to fit-for-purpose microphones. The partnership programme also provides regular visits to partner schools and colleges to meet with students and staff, demonstrate miking techniques and give talks on microphone design and recording technology.
