SEN/D

Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Music technology is an ever-growing and evolving area that is enhancing access to music-making for children, young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEN/D)

At TiME we are working alongside many highly experienced teachers, music leaders and organisations to provide information on the range of music technology that can improve equitable access to all areas of music teaching and learning, composing and performance.

As part of this work, we are one of six organisations working together as the Inclusive Music Consortium, led by Creative United, focusing on broadening access to music for anyone with additional needs or specialist requirements.

We can support you with

• A network of inclusive music practitioners

• Consultancy, advice and guidance

• Resources to support the use of accessible Music Technology

• CPD, training and webinars

Events and conferences

• Connections to Music Technology companies

• Opportunities to share your work and contribute

• Help to create projects, activities and workshops accessible to all.

By connecting manufacturers, designers and makers with Music Hubs, Schools and individuals, we are learning more about how the latest music technologies can support participation, musical skills development and creativity.

If you are a music practitioner, educator, school or hub and would like to get involved, please email info@techmusiced.org.uk
