Tim Yates
TiME Consultant
Tim Yates is a sound-artist, musician and instrument builder who makes and finds instruments of all kinds for performance and installation. He has shown work nationally and internationally including at the Tate Modern, the V&A and Xi’an International Maker Faire. He is also an award-winning accessible instrument developer. From 2019 - 2022 was Program Lead for Research and Development at Drake Music where he led a highly ambitious and pioneering program of bespoke accessible musical instrument development.
He is now focussing on his personal creative practice, but still actively working in accessible instrument development and advocacy.
