Ross Kenning

Ross is the Music Lead for Music Technology and Pupil Achievement at Ealing Music Service. Ross advocates the use of music Apps to enhance and compliment the teaching undertaken by the Service across all offers of music education. He has spent the past 11 years teaching for Ealing and Hounslow Music Hubs across whole class, small-group and individual lessons in guitar, drum-kit, ukulele, and iPads.
Before teaching, Ross played in numerous bands touring the UK, Europe and the US, performing at festivals such as SXSW as part of BBC Introducing with Steve Lamacq. Ross has previously been signed to Alan McGee management, Peer Music publishing, record label Believe and has had the pleasure to work with music producers such as Alan Moulder, David Tickle, and Gareth Jones in the studio.
Following A-Levels in Mathematics, Physics and Music Technology Ross trained as a Sound Engineer at RDS Studios in Chiswick, undertaking studio recordings and the setup of live sound reinforcement systems while spending his spare time curating club nights across London in venues such as Notting Hill Arts Club, Ginlink and The Old Blue Last.
