Daniel 'HD' Johnson

TiME Consultant
International DJ producer / Vocalist, Social Entrepreneur (founder of IN MUSIC IN MEDIA Social Enterprise), Tutor, Lecturer, Music Researcher and Reggae Ambassador

Daniel's journey started at the tender age of 11 when he landed his first Radio show as a Reggae specialist DJ. This lead to him forming his own music group with peers, and the group became a popular demand for local parties and events providing an outlet and creating a platform for aspiring music artists. The platform accommodated the expansion of music genres, styles and both national and international presence.

The experience and resources he accumulated built the foundation for his music and personal development training programmes. After years of delivering these programmes in the forms of training courses and workshops with various charities and non-for-profit organisations, he set-up In Music In Media social enterprise with the specific focus of using Urban music and the related skillsets to support young people in their personal development.

His experience also lead to his Associate Lecturer role in Music and Media studies at the University Of Northampton, which accommodated the presentation and publications of his Reggae and Sound System Culture studies at various international conferences.
