A warm welcome to our Corporate Partners at Soundbeam

We are delighted to welcome ‘Soundbeam’ as Corporate Members of TiME. Soundbeam is an award-winning 'touch free' musical device that uses motion sensor and switch technology to translate even the smallest movement into music, sound and film. Soundbeam makes music performance, composition and education accessible to all – and is widely used to engage students, adults and professionals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in music making and composition.

Soundbeam 6 is the latest development in the technology and comprises of a Touch Screen interface and an extensive library of instrumental and sampled sounds, enabling exploration and performance of different genres - blues, classical, to more improvisational soundscapes and other musical ways of playing. The ability to add and trigger visuals to accompany the sound-sets offers a multi-media experience.

It is completely programmable so that the user can make changes to personalise the sound-sets and save them. Soundbeam 6 has a wealth of instruments, backing tracks and sound effects to choose from and you can connect multiple sensors at any time. There are also a range of tactile wireless switches available.

As Corporate members of TiME the Soundbeam team are working with us to raise awareness of how technology can be used to enhance access to music making and we are looking forward to trying out the latest developments in the Soundbeam sensor technology.
