A Warm Welcome to our Community Partners at Diversity Music Community 1st

We are delighted to welcome Diversity Music to the TiME Community!

Based in Wolverhampton, Diversity Music, or to give them their full title 'Diversity Music Community 1st’ was founded in 2017 as a Community Interest Company that specialises in creative music workshops. They provide hands-on, practical, musical experiences that place the needs of the Wolverhampton community first. By following 4 main artistic principles: Accessibility, Approachability, Decentralisation and Equality of Opportunity, they aim to ensure music learning, creation and appreciation is open to all.

Diversity Music offer music workshops in a range of genres and styles including choral and vocal workshops, African drumming groups, music production and song-writing sessions. Schools, charities and community organisations use their bespoke services to improve the quality of the relationships within social groups, working to reduce antisocial behaviour and team building.

Diversity Music work with partners across the Midlands, collaborating with educators, experienced musicians, social workers and the Criminal Justice System. Their core team are experts in engagement processes and they lead and teach a wide genre of music and artistic mediums. Diversity Music use music and the arts, to address social, educational and emotional challenges and  create environments for participants to be actively involved.
