Music Education Hubs

Hubs

Music Education Hubs are partnerships of schools, local authorities, community groups, music organisations and industry working together to create joined-up music education provision. They will respond to local need and fulfil the objectives set out in the National Plan for Music Education.

In 2024, Arts Council England, on behalf of the DfE, unveiled 43 new music Hub Lead Organisations (HLO's) who will co-ordinate the partnership working across their region. The HLOs have each been allocated funding to support their work and this includes purchasing musical instruments, equipment and music technology (software and hardware).

You can find out more about the new programme on the Arts Council England website and a list of contact details can be found here.

TiME will be working with all Music Hubs and Services to support them with guidance on the range of music technology available and how these products can support inclusive access to music education.
