HMI Christopher Stevens, Ofsted Subject Lead for Music, will give an overview of the key findings from the music research review in this free ISM Trust webinar. He will reflect on what this means for a high-quality music curriculum in England’s schools. Christopher will consider the factors that contribute to creating that high quality of education in music and the key messages for school leaders and teaching staff.
About the speaker
Christopher Stevens is one of His Majesty’s Inspectors and Ofsted’s Subject Lead for Music. He is a qualified teacher and, as an advanced skills teacher, taught music across key stages 1 to 5. Before working for Ofsted, he held various senior management roles within schools, including being the Chief Executive Officer of a Multi-Academy Trust. Christopher has extensive experience in leading inspections in the maintained and independent sectors.
